Still Accepting Registrations for Kindergarten
We are still accepting registrations for Kindergarten. If you, a neighbor or a friend missed Roosevelt’s Kindergarten Round-up, registration packets may still be picked up in the Roosevelt office. Now is the time to register for next fall!
Clothes Still Needed, Please!
From time to time students borrow clothes from the office. We are in short supply and are taking donations of gently used shirts and pants. Please turn donations into the office! We are in need of the following:
- Girls shirts sz. 5—16
- Girls pants sz 5-10
- Boys shirts sz. 8 & 12-16
- Boys pants sz. 6-12
Lakeshore Athletic Summer Camps
The purpose of the Lakeshore Lancer athletic camps is to involve as many young students in athletics as possible. The goal is to foster a love and interest in the various sports that students may compete in during their high school years.
The main focus will be on teaching technique and various skills while developing sportsmanship, teamwork, and the value of hard work that may be applied in all areas of their lives. This year there will be summer camps for basketball, football, softball, volleyball, soccer, and tennis.

Young Fives Registration for 2017-2018
Age eligibility: Five years old between June 1 and December 1, 2017, and independent bathroom users (preference given to those born between 9/1-12/1). Please register at the Central Office:

The program will provide a pre-kindergarten curriculum through the use of thematic units, Zoo-Phonics, handwriting, math, and other creative literacy activities. Students spend time every day in circle time, reading, writing, math, arts and crafts, and dramatic play as well as participate in music, gym, and art time each week. Young Fives Informational Flyer
