Substitute Teachers
Thank you for your interest in substitute teaching! Subbing is a wonderful way to contribute to student learning, make a little extra money, have fun, and control your own schedule. We partner with EDUStaff for substitute teachers. Pay starts at $110 a day and increases to $175 a day after the 20th day of subbing in our district. Substitute Paraprofessionals
A paraprofessional is an integral part in our education system. This position allows for a variety of student interactions from a whole classroom to one on one settings, from instructional to monitoring lunch/recess duty, and at any building. No college education is required but you must be able to pass a background check. Substitute paraprofessionals are hired directly through Lakeshore Public Schools. Substitute Bus Drivers
Bus drivers start and end the students' day on a positive note. Routes can be 4-5 hours a day, AM and/or PM, but primarily PM. To be considered for employment, you must be at least 21 years of age and be able to obtain a CDL with a passenger, air brake, and S endorsements. Training will be provided to the right candidate. You must be able to pass a background check including your driving record, criminal background check, drug and alcohol testing, and previous and/or current employer background check. Substitute Food Service
Substitute Food Service employees work approximately 4 hours a day and get to see smiling, happy faces by providing breakfast and/or lunchtime meals. Who doesn't love food?! Come join this hard working, fun group by checking RedRover to see if we are currently in need of subsitute bus drivers.
