Lakeshore Elementary Families -
Over the last few weeks, we have been working very closely with the St. Joseph-Benton Harbor YMCA to see how we can best serve our families moving in providing an option for before and after school programs. It is mutually felt, the way to serve the families and give the best programming experience, will be to move the location of the Roosevelt Y-Club program to the YMCA. This move will provide greater opportunity for staffing, programming, social interactions with St. Joe students, and easier access to other YMCA programs (Swim Team, Swim Lessons, Sport Clinics).
The YMCA is remodeling their Y-Club space at the YMCA to better serve this age range and accommodate both school districts. We will also provide transportation to and from Hollywood Elementary every morning and afternoon.
