How do you serve 2,121 Thanksgiving meals in such a short time, you ask? With many hands! A huge THANK YOU to our amazing kitchen staff who have been cooking for days, to the custodians for extra set-up, clean-up, and making sure everything was working smoothly, to the administrators who jumped in to serve students, and to the teachers and paras for the beautiful decorations! Exciting News for Lakeshore High School! We are proud to announce that the Lakeshore High School Automotive Program has received national accreditation from the ASE Education Foundation! This prestigious recognition highlights the program's excellence in Maintenance and Light Repair and reflects the dedication of our team to provide top-tier automotive education. "This is great news for automotive-minded young people and their parents," said Michael Coley, ASE Education Foundation President. "Lakeshore’s graduates will be employable entry-level technicians, benefiting both the workforce and the motoring public." Automotive Instructor Doug Haygood shared, "We’ve worked hard to meet the industry’s rigorous standards, and now our students can confidently pursue their passion with a quality education." We’re excited to share that U.S. News & World Report has just released its 2025 Best Elementary and Middle Schools rankings, and we’re thrilled to announce that Hollywood Elementary, Roosevelt Elementary, Stewart Elementary, and Lakeshore Middle School have all earned this prestigious honor! These rankings are based on data from the U.S. Department of Education, and they offer parents a great way to see how schools are helping students succeed. This recognition is a true testament to the hard work and collaboration of our amazing staff, students, and the entire Lakeshore community!
