It’s National School Bus Safety Week!
School safety starts right at the bus stop, so let’s keep our kids safe with these easy tips:
Arrive at the bus stop five minutes early. Stand five giant steps away from the curb. Wait for the bus to come to a complete stop, the door to open, and the driver to give the green light before stepping on board. Make sure you’re visible to the driver, and the driver can see you too!
Let’s work together to make every bus ride a safe one. Share these tips with your children and keep everyone safe!

Huge shoutout to Coach Jo Schau, our incredible 6th-grade science teacher and coach, and the unstoppable 8th grade volleyball team! They took 1st place at the Coloma Invitational and finished the entire season UNDEFEATED!
Their hard work, teamwork, and dedication made this an unforgettable season. We couldn’t be prouder of these Lancers!

It’s National School Bus Safety Week!
School is back in session, which means more kids are out and about waiting for their buses. Let’s keep everyone safe by being extra cautious around bus stops.
If you see yellow lights on a school bus, that means it’s getting ready to stop—so slow down and stay alert!
When those red lights and the stop-arm come out, it's time to STOP. Racing past puts our kids at risk. Let’s all do our part to keep them safe and sound.

This morning, Lakeshore Public Schools' 9th graders, along with students from surrounding districts, explored Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways at Lake Michigan College!
Lakeshore CTE instructors and students helped facilitate the event, providing hands-on experience in high-demand fields like healthcare, IT, skilled trades, and more. CTE programs equip students with real-world skills to succeed, whether they enter the workforce right after high school or continue their education.
